Regular Move Out for residents leaving at the end of their boarding period
ич Moving Out Hours: 9 AM ~ 5 PM
иш Procedure: Fill out the moving out the Application for Refund form (obtained from the dormitory homepage) --> Organize personal belongings --> Clean the room --> Check the equipment and facility -> Return equipment and card key --> submit Application for Refund form to the dormitory administration office --> Move out
ищ The security deposit will be refunded to the requested Korean bank account on the 10th day of the next month following the moving out date.
 
Moving Out prior to Designated End of Boarding Period
ич Early Move out may be allowed on reasonable grounds with verifiable documentation such as leave of absence from school, mandatory military services, dropping out or a serious illness.
иш Refund Standard: The security deposit and the dormitory fee will be refunded based on the table below into the requested Korean bank account on the 10th day of the next month following the moving out day. The resident is required to fill out and submit the Application for Refund form to the dormitory administration office prior to moving out. However, if the residents move out within the last 4 weeks of the boarding period, the remaining fee will not be refunded.

Period Moving Out During the Boarding Period Refund Standards
Semester Calculated on a 16-week period, refund of the remaining weeks except the corresponding week.
Half-Yearly Calculated on a 25-week period, refund of the remaining weeks except the corresponding week.
Yearly since the resident paid 11-months in advance, moving out during the boarding period will be calculated on 11-months and will be refunded for the remaining weeks except the corresponding week.

Termination of Dormitory Contract by Soongsil

ич Residents with more than 20 penalty points will be expelled immediately from the dormitory. In the case of residents (even with less than 20 penalty points) markedly violating University policy, regulations, the residence standards or shows no regret for his/her violations will be expelled immediately from the dormitory as well. ?
иш Residents forced to move out will not be readmitted to dormitories at any time in the future.
ищ Refund: The resident will be refunded according to the same standards as those moving out during the boarding period
